Once you have purchased your session(s), go to Schedule, select the date and time you would like. Once you are booked, you will receive an email confirmation.

I’ve never done Reformer Pilates - what is it?

Most people I meet have never tried it, so you are not feel alone! The great thing about the Reformer is that it can be used by ANY body! There are different tensions on it for different levels of strength, so it can be customized to your level. The Reformer can be used as a strength training machine, or a flexibility and mobility machine, or even a cardio machine. There are hundreds of different exercises that can be done on the Reformer so you will never get bored!

What can I expect in the 30-minute Intro class?

First, we’ll discuss your goals and reason for starting Pilates, and then we’ll get you moving on the Reformer! We’ll do a variety of exercises so you can see the magic of the Reformer and develop a plan to help you meet your goals.

Do I need to bring anything?

Grip socks are required and you can buy them when you arrive. They are also sold at places like Sport Chek, Marshalls/Winners, some Canadian Tire stores, and Amazon. Other than grip socks, just make sure you wear clothes you are comfortable exercising in. If you have long hair, bring a hair tie so your hair doesn’t get caught!

How often should I do Pilates?

Joseph Pilates said “In ten sessions you’ll feel the difference, in twenty you’ll see the difference, and in thirty you’ll have a new body.”

How often you come depends on your goals and your level of other daily activity. If you want to feel noticeably stronger, more mobile, and flexible, I recommend at least 2-3 times per week.

Is there free parking?

Yes! You may park in my driveway or on the street for free.

How will doing Pilates with you help me?

It’s been proven that working with a certified trainer helps people achieve their goals. We’ll help you work on your form, so when you exercise on your own you can have confidence you are doing it in a safe manner. Working with a trainer also enforces accountability to show up, provides motivation to not quit, and adds variety to your routine.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please provide 12 hours notice if you cannot make your scheduled session. Of course, things happen and if you cannot provide 12 hours, let me know as soon as possible as a respect for my time.

Do you offer refunds?

If you are not completely satisfied after your Intro session, we will provide a full refund for that session.

For subsequent sessions you have purchased, we will offer a 75% refund on your unused sessions. We do not refund sessions you have completed.
